Our story

Our studio’s roots include the long-running fine art print shop Double Exposure. After Double Exposure was acquired by Roger and Peggy Reid, it was relocated to downtown Waynesville and rebranded as Smoky Mountain Studios.

Today, we continue to serve working artists throughout Western North Carolina and beyond. We are happy to continue providing a print workflow designed for consistency, color accuracy, and collector-ready presentation.

What we specialize in

Archival giclée printing

High-quality fine art printing using modern inkjet methods designed for vibrant color, fine detail, and museum-grade results on professional media.

Artwork capture & reproduction

Bring in original work for accurate reproduction. The foundation of our prints is built around careful review, file prep, and a proofing process that respects the artist’s intent.

Artist-first service

We love the collaborative part: learning what you care about in the piece, dialing in color and tone, and making prints that feel true to the original.
